Silencer
We at Revenge have always been a leader in the industry especially when it comes to building faster and stronger cars for the growing speed and abuse levels today's sand cars are put through. If a customer shops a car with us some of the only reasons they wouldn't buy a car is if the car wasn't affordable or if the car was too big for their intended use. For these reasons we decided to go back to basics and create a car that is designed to dune with incredible agility due to it's light weight and suspension design as well as be very affordable.

 
The Silencer is a light weight dune car designed to turn and handle for the most aggressive duner all in the 39k base price range. The car is centered around the highly successful Subaru power plant in a mid engine configuration for the ultimate in power to weight ratios and turn ability. With 250hp standard and a dry weight of 1500 lbs the car has a power to weight ratio better than most 510hp long travel cars.
 
The suspension of the Silencer is designed more like a road race car than a long travel car. With anti-dive, Ackerman, roll center and line of force principles used extensively throughout the design of the suspension, the Silencer is a car that can turn on a dime and leave you change without using turning brakes or concerning yourself about being on or off the gas at the right time. If you find yourself in the fastest dune ride in recent memory you can keep pace with the others with little or no effort from you and your car, all the time knowing that you can out turn and accelerate to the front of the line to pick up the pace at a moments notice.

Features


Engines
We have had experience with every known motor combination over the years but the best one for this light weight duner is the Subaru. The car comes standard with 250hp but you may decide to go with more power in which case you can get levels from 250 hp to 600hp. All LS1 packages are also available.

Transmissions
Any transmission is possible in the chassis but the most popular options here would be the Mendeola 2D or S4. Also, Fortin wide gear 4 speed or 5 speed sequential. The Albins and the Fields automatic are available as well.

Mid-Board Style 4 Piston Rear Hubs
Comes standard with mid board style hubs that allow you to run another 2 inches of travel in the rear since it positions the CV farther away from the trans and allows for longer axles which in turn gives lower CV angles. They also can be upgrades to 6 piston calipers for improved stopping power.

Front brakes
Combo spindle with a two piston caliper is standard front hub.

Sway Bar
A anti sway bar is a very popular option which eliminates most of the body roll associated with long travel cars and lets you take corners at much higher speeds under control. Rear sway bar is standard but a front bar is an option.

Power steering
We offer a power rack and pinion steering system for those who like the comfort and ease in steering that a power rack gives.

CV and Axle
930 cv's are standard and are good up to 550hp in our chassis but if you would like more then 934 cv's and axles are available for any trans and hub combination.

Wheels and Tires
15" Billet Douglas Beadlocks with triple razors and 33 Sandblasters are standard, but if you would like 16" or 17" wheels and tires or an off road set we can accommodate that too.

Aluminum
Although aluminum side panels are standard on complete cars a rear wing with or without storage or a custom scoop, dash, hood or custom consol are options.

Stereo Systems
From mild to wild we can set your car up with a stereo that will fit your needs as well as equip it with satellite radio for unlimited stations no matter where you are in the dunes.

Radios and Intercoms
PCI race radios let you talk to your friends in other cars or back to camp. Intercom systems from 2 to 5 persons can limit outside noises while letting you talk at ease with all of your passengers as you drive.

Light Bar
Light bars are becoming more and more popular with our night time duners. 6" Pro Comp lights all the way up to 9" Hella HIDs can be run on your custom light bar.

Luggage Rack
Luggage racks of all shapes and sizes can be built for the car as you would like.

Interior
Seats come in any color you would like but if you would like to step it up a bit we can carpet the inside of the side panels or we can completely upholster the inside of the car with graphics and storage pockets anywhere you would like.

Seats
Beard Super seats in any style other than leather are standard but if you would like custom materials or a wider seat or another style then they are available too.

Paint
The sky is the limit here but any style of paint, graphic, or air brushing is available to you from qualified painters with experience in each area to give you the perfect look.

Chrome
Chroming the suspension components is a very popular option but we can go as far as you like with this by chroming everything in site if you like.

Set up for Subaru and LS1 mid engine. Rear engine versions are available as well. Mendeola mounts are standard.

Transmission
A Mendeola E-box is standard. All transmissions can be removed w/ motor still in chassis for easy prep or repair.

Spindles
Combo style spindle spud is standard. 2" spud is an option.

Brakes
Combo spindle w/ 2 piston caliper is standard.
4 piston caliper and 930 midboard hub assembly in the rear.

Cooling
Ron Davis radiator and fans.

Fuel Cell
25 gallon fuel tank with fuel sump.

Aluminum
Side panels and full length floor.

Suspension Components
The upper and lower uniballs are 1" while the tie-rod ends are 5/8", 3/4", and 1". Inner control arm mounts are polyurethane joints. Rear trailing arm mounts are polyurethane.

Travel
Front is 20" with 4 " of ground clearance at full bump with 0 bump steer and 0 track width scrub through 20" of travel. Rear travel is 20" with 930 and standard axles set at 23.5 deg max angle.

Anti Swaybars
The rear of the car is equipped with an anti swaybar standard. Front swaybar is an option.

Wheels and Tires
Douglas Billet beadlock sand wheels 15 x 5 front and 15 x 12 rear are standard. Single razor front and 1300 series paddles in the rear are standard.
